If you click on the tab labeled Codes, you will see the next screen, the Coupon Codes Property Tab Dialog.
Shown below is the Codes Property Dialog for Microsoft Expression; however the Dreamweaver version is nearly identical.
Allows you to specify Item-by-Item Coupon numbers and a percentage or an absolute amount. Upon adding to the shopping cart, your customer can specify a coupon # for this product and receive a % discount off the item price.
Code Field Size
What does this do? The field size is used to determine the size of the field for the Coupon Codes or to eliminate coupon discounting..
Default? 0. Set the value to 0 to eliminate Coupon Discount Codes
Code #1, #2, #3, #4
What does this do? Enter the Coupon Codes you want to use in these fields. If the customer enters the correct code, they will receive the corresponding discount on this product.
Default? Blank
Apply ___ % Discount
What does this do? Enter the % discount you would like your customers to receive if they enter the corresponding Coupon Code.
Default? Blank
Graphic Name and Path
What does this do? Enter the name and path of the coupon code prompting graphic if you created a new one. If not, use the default.
Default? discountcode.gif (located in the /mall folder with the product page so no folder is specified)
Merchant/Affiliate Tracking Code
What does this do? The "Merchant/Affiliate Tracking Code" allows you to track particular products to particular affiliates, merchants or suppliers. Each time a particular item is ordered, the tracking code you enter here is attached to the product ordered. You can offer your affiliates a commission every time one of their customers links to your web site and places an order. The Online Order Database provides you with a tracking report on-line called the Affiliate Tracking Report. The Affiliate Tracking Report tracks all of your affiliate's orders by Order Date/Time, Affiliate #, Order #, Sub Total, Taxes, Shipping, and Grand Total.
