The Lobby Page

The Lobby Page helps organize your Product Pages. The Lobby Page is the directory (or index) of your products. In many cases, a single Lobby Page will have a link to each of your product pages. However, if you have a large number of products, creating separate groupings or categories for products may be more appropriate. In this case, you will create a second sub-Lobby Page to hold that grouping. For example, a shopping cart dedicated to music, might have a main Lobby Page called "Music" and then several sub-Lobby Pages for different categories, such as Rock-n-Roll, Jazz, etc. You can create further sub-Lobby Pages to group the titles by alphabet, such as "A", "B", etc. The number of sub-Lobby Pages depends on the total number of products you have. The Lobby and any sub-Lobby Pages are created and treated in exactly the same fashion.

A Lobby or sub-Lobby page will contain links to other sub-Lobby Pages or to individual Product Pages. Starting with the main Lobby Page, you should customize this page with graphics and list for each of your products or product groupings. Next, you will create a Hyperlink from the Lobby to either a sub-Lobby or a Product Page for this group of products.

The Lobby page is a normal html page.
