Handling thousands of products is a breeze by integrating the Product Management Plug-in to create a dynamic SalesCart Web.
The Product Management plugin is included free with SalesCart SQL. It is a separate piece of software that you need to install onto your website if you wish to manage dynamically generated Product Pages. The product pages created thus far are static product pages. You may also dynamically generate catalog-based product pages and maintain the price and generic product information relating to those products in a database. The advantages to such a system is that it is easier to maintain hundreds or thousands of products via a database as opposed to having each product statically represented. The disadvantage is that all of the product pages become template based and have to maintain the same look and feel. The other disadvantage is that in some cases, search engines may give preferential treatment to static pages over dynamic pages. This is a general factually difference between static and dynamic product pages. Most shopping carts only allow dynamic product pages. SalesCart allows you to build and maintain both, even both on the same website.

This plugin is separate and documented separately and not automatically installed so that new releases may be provided without requiring you to upgrade your entire shopping cart.
