Changing SalesCart Wizard Settings in Dreamweaver

If you are using Macromedia Dreamweaver or UltraDev as your web design tool, follow this section to re-run the SalesCart Wizard. If you have a different design tool, skip to the next section.

Once you have completely built your SalesCart Web, you may find it necessary to change some of the settings you originally entered into the SalesCart Wizard when you first built your Shopping Cart. You can change any of your settings by simply re-running the SalesCart Wizard.

Re-running the SalesCart Wizard

To modify an existing SalesCart Web by re-running the SalesCart Wizard, complete the following steps.

1. Open your existing SalesCart website with your design tool.
2. In Macromedia, from the main menu select SalesCart>>SalesCart Main Menu from the menu.



3. Next select Create from the SalesCart Main Menu.



4. Select Modify SalesCart Settings Only in screen one of the wizard and click Next to overwrite the basic settings only.
5. Be sure to specify your existing website location and name under Web Site Path and Web Site Name.



6. Click Next. Proceed to answer each of the SalesCart Wizard questions. Then click Finish when done.
7. This will modify the global.asa and salescart.asa settings file only without adding or changing any template files.
