If you have a previously created website and that site was not created with SalesCart, converting that website to use with SalesCart is trivial. Simply run the SalesCart Wizard and let it add the template files to the existing website and then add the products or modify your product pages by adding SalesCart product links to each of them.
Please refer to the the Getting Started section on how to add/create a SalesCart website and the Building and Editing SalesCart Product Links section on how to modify or create products. The SalesCart Wizard works the same way whether you copy the SalesCart templates and build a completely brand new SalesCart website or whether you copy the templates, database, and checkout pages to an existing website thereby converting it to a SalesCart website.
We strongly suggest that you create a basic SalesCart website from scratch first before using the wizard on an existing website so that you get a feel for what template pages are added and where these pages are added. This working knowledge of what the SalesCart wizard does will prepare you for any webpages with the same file names which might be overwritten by the SalesCart wizard. In any case, you should always back-up your existing website before converting it just in case.
