Recalculate Hyperlinks on Root Web

Open Microsoft FrontPage.

File>>Open Web>>Web Folders.

Enter the name of your RootWeb: http://localhost .

Click Open and its name will appear on the top title bar of FrontPage Explorer, as shown below.

The root Web for your system is now open.

Click on Tools>>Recalculate Hyperlinks>>Yes.

Note: If you receive the error message "Could not find a Web server on port 80. Please check to make sure that the Web server is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If you are sure that everything is correct, the Web server may be temporarily "out of service", or your PWS is not on or not installed properly. You will need to contact Microsoft FrontPage technical support if you get this error and ask them how to get a "server-based" web to operate correctly.

If you receive the error message "The Web server at 'http://localhost' does not appear to have the FrontPage server extensions installed.", then please refer to the instructions for Installing and Configuring Server Extensions in the beginning of this chapter.

The ability to get to http://localhost is a basic FrontPage and Microsoft Windows Networking Test and has nothing to do with SalesCart. If you get any error messages besides the error messages above, you have a fundamental problem either with the installation of Microsoft Windows TCP/IP Networking or FrontPage. You must contact Microsoft FrontPage Technical Support to resolve these issues before continuing any further.
