SalesCart-X is a Client-based solution and component. It is meant to be run on the client-only. Make certain you do not install SalesCart on the server!
To install the purchased version of SalesCart:
Note: If you are installing from disks, Insert the first disk, and Select Start>>Run from the Windows® Desktop. Enter A:\setup, then click Ok. Insert each disk as prompted.
3. Double-click on the SalesCart executable file. The file will self-extract.
4. A dialog box similar to the following appears
5. Click OK
6. The welcome screen appears next.
8. Click Next.
9. Read the License Agreement and if you agree, click Yes.
10. Read the release notes (the ReadMe.txt file).
11. Click Next.
12. Type in your Name, Company and the SalesCart Serial Number. The serial number is required if you are installing the full purchased version. In the trial version, you may use the default serial number.
Note: You MUST type your name exactly as the name you provided at the time of your order. The SalesCart installation is "keyed" to the exact name of the license holder.
13. Click Next
14. SalesCart finds the path to Microsoft Office®. Click Next to install the software to the designated location. (We do not suggest that you change the path where Office is found by SalesCart)
14. Select the type of setup you prefer depending on your version of FrontPage and click Next.
15. Select the Program Folder you want to install to, or use the default and click Next. The program now begins to install.
16. When the "Setup has finished installing SalesCart on your computer" dialog appears, click OK.
17. Restart your computer.
