A SalesCart Product Page displays products, and is where shoppers add items to their carts. The following procedure will edit the existing Product Page created automatically by SalesCart, but it also applies to all SalesCart product pages that you create.
Your first "demo" SalesCart Product Page is already built for you by the SalesCart Web Wizard. To edit the existing "blank" SalesCart Product Page:
In FrontPage, go to Folders, open the mall folder.
Note: If you insert the product link inside of a form (denoted in a FrontPage with dotted lines), SalesCart "may" not work properly. Information passed on to the checkout pages will be associated with a form within a form. This may be useful in advanced cases but not normally. You "MUST" delete the entire "pretend" product link on the productpage.asp to prevent this mistake.
3. To add a Product Link to a Product Page: From FrontPage go to: SalesCart>>Add Product Link>>Add [SalesCart Pro-3]Product Link>>Finish. See the graphics below:

4. Select Add [SalesCartPro-3] Product Link and then Finish. The following should appear:

Note: If the "Add [SalesCart] Product Link" does not appear on the list of FrontPage Components, you must stop and recalculate the hyperlinks (see the section titled, Recalculate Hyperlinks on Root Web) of the <Root Web> and the Web you are currently working on, in that order, or check your FrontPage Server Extensions.
You can create new SalesCart product pages by going to FrontPage and opening File>>New>>Page >> [SalesCart] Product.htm, or in FrontPage version 2002: File>>New>>Page or Web >>Page Templates>> [SalesCart] Product.htm. SalesCart product pages should be saved with the .asp extension (not .htm), and must be placed in the mall directory of your SalesCart Web. The only thing that differentiates a normal html page from a SalesCart product page is that it is saved with .asp extensions.
Note: If you do not make use of certain features such as the product expiration or Include feature, you can save the Product Page with an .htm extension.
