Now you can easily configure many shipping options directly through the SalesCart Wizard Shipping Configuration screen!

Set up Free Shipping, Minimum Shipping charges and Handling fees directly through the Wizard interface. Some of these shipping options can be combined; for instance, product-based shipping can be used in conjunction with Whole Order-based.

What does this do? Allows you to offer free shipping if the total amount ordered exceeds the value set here.

Default? 1000000 You can set this to an outrageously high amount if you don't want to offer free shipping.

If you want to: reward customers for buying a certain value level of your product/s

What does this do? Allows you to customize a name for your Free Shipping offer.

Default? Free Shipping Service

If you want to: give a description for the Free Shipping. If you don't offer free shipping, leave this field blank.

What does this do? Sets a minimum shipping charge for small orders

Default? 0

If you want to: establish a set minimum shipping charge for orders below the threshold amount based on the entire order.

If you want to: set a specific shipping fee for a particular product, use the Product Link. See the section titled, "Checkout"

What does this do? Establishes the threshold for the minimum shipping charge.

Default? 0

If you want to: establish a set minimum charge for orders below the threshold amount based on the entire order.

What does this do? Establishes a set amount for handling for the entire order.

Default? 0

If you want to: set up only one handling fee for the entire order regardless of quantity, amount etc. Use to differentiate between shipping and handling fees during checkout.

If you want to: set a specific handling fee per product, use the the Product Link. See the section titled, "Checkout"

When done, select Next>

What do these do? Allows the configuration of shipping by selecting the variable you want to base your shipping methods and charges on. You can choose from several options including Weight, Value, Based only on Products , Volume, or Quantity. The ranges for the all options except the "Based only on Products" must be defined in the shipping table. See the section titled "Basic Procedures".

The "Based only on Product" option is defined in the Product Link under the tab called "Checkout". A value must be entered in the "Per Product Shipping Amount" field if you want to use the "Based only on Product" shipping option. If you check the "Based only on Product" option, no other shipping options will be calculated.

Some of the Wizard shipping options can be combined; for instance, "Based on Weight" can be used in conjunction with Per Product Shipping Amount found in the product link. For example: If you chose "Based on Weight" and also entered 4.00 in the Per Product Shipping Amount field, it would base shipping on the combined value amount defined for the weight of the product plus the amount entered in the Per Product Shipping Amount field.

Default? Based only on Products This option calculates shipping based on the combined value for all products in the shopping cart based on the amount entered in the Per Product Shipping Amount located in the product link.

If you want to: have the flexibility to base your shipping charges based on very specific variables.

Example: If you choose to configure shipping "Based on Weight", SalesCart will automatically calculate the total weight of all of the items purchased. This is calculated based on the weight entered into the "weight" field of the SalesCart-PRO product link component for each item. The total weight of all products purchased is then compared to the "Weight Range" table to determine valid shipping methods (UPS Ground, Fed Ex- Next Day) and the associated pricing.

What does this do? Specifies the description to be shown for the Compute Shipping option chosen.

Default? Product-Based Shipping

What does this do? Calculates shipping based only on the absolute combined values of all products purchased.

Default? Unchecked

If you want to: simply use a single amount to charge for shipping for the entire order

What does this do? Specifies the description to be shown for Flat-Order based shipping.

Default? Flat-Order Shipping sent by FedEx

What does this do? Uses a percentage of the total order amount to calculate shipping if shipping is based on the Whole Order.

Default? Checked

If you want to: configure shipping fees based by a percentage of the whole order.

What does this do? Uses a set amount for shipping if shipping is based on the Whole Order is selected.

Default? Unchecked

If you want to: set the shipping charge to a set amount for whole orders.

What does this do? The value entered into this field will be used to calculate shipping based on either Use % Total or Use Distinct Amount, whichever was clicked.

Default? 0

When done, select Next>
