Customer Receipts via E-Mail

By default, SalesCart provides a receipt page that does not allow the customer to get an E-mail confirmation of their order. However, you can quickly customize SalesCart to automatically send out an E-mail confirmation to the E-mail address specified by the customer. If you want to add the customer E-mail confirmation, proceed as follows:

  1. In FrontPage Explorer: File>>Open Web Folder.
  2. Type in the address of your website.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Locate the file named receipt2.php in the sc-bin folder.
  5. If you want email to be offered to your customers, copy the file receipt2 with email.php over the receipt2.php file. If you do not want the E-mail option to be offered to your customers, copy the file receipt2 no email.php over the receipt2.php file.
