Tracking Affiliates or Multiple Merchants

With SalesCart, you can track affiliates or multiple merchants on an order-by-order or per-shopper basis. If you have multiple merchants or affiliates, you will assign each of them a unique code, or merchant ID number. To use affiliate tracking in SalesCart, do the following:

1. Assign a unique merchant ID number to each affiliate.
2. Provide each affiliate a unique link defined as follows:

http://www.shoppingcartweb.com/mall/affiliate.php?merchantid=72&nextpage=index.htm

3. where merchantid= the unique merchantid number and nextpage= the next page relative to the root folder in your Web that you want the affiliates' customers to see.

You may call the affiliate.php more than once a session to change the merchant ID number.

You can view reports on the online order retrieval system.
