Upgrading to a new version of SalesCart does not affect or change any website that you have previously built unless you open them and change them with your design tool. Installing a new version of SalesCart affects only future shopping cart websites that you Create or Edit.
Refer to the previous chapter entitled Getting Started and skip this Chapter if you are not upgrading from a previous version of SalesCart.
Warning! Before starting this process, you should make a backup of your existing shopping cart website. This process will permanently change and replace many of the files that currently exist on your website.
There are three steps to the upgrade process:
