This section applies when you are using an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a Hosting Provider .
In order to view the shopping cart pages and checkout pages on your web server. Your provider must support .php files and have mySQL. Virtually all web hosting companies that support Linux also support these two technologies but you much contact your service provider to make sure and to help in the configuration of your mySQL database.
Most basic Web presence providers supply the necessary requirements to run SalesCart. To be sure, review the SalesCart server requirements and then contact your Hosting Provider for confirmation. If your Hosting Provider does not provide the basic requirements needed, you will need to change your Hosting Provider, in which case please contact ComCity Corporation at http://www.salescart.com for more information on other ISPs that support SalesCart.
Once you have selected a Hosting Provider that provides the necessary requirements to run SalesCart, your Hosting Provider should not need additional software to make SalesCart work. However, they may need to set up the proper permissions on your files and folders and to create your mySQL database.
